Camping at the HO campsite alongside the Moretele River is always a highlight as the HOs Fish Eagle Camp name is confirmed all weekend by the cry of the Fish Eagles. The fishermen flood to the Klipvoor Dam with HOs doing routine checks to see that they’re fishing legally and not over fishing the bountiful dam. With many local villages bordering the park a key activity for the duty HOs is to do foot patrols looking for any unnatural activities and removing of any snares. Walking in Borakalalo one must always be vigilant as Buffalo and Hippos can be encountered.
